Layle Cobb
RMT
I have always had a desire to help others and arrived at the decision to become an RMT while receiving massage therapy for a repetitive strain injury. That decision lead me to study at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, Victoria and following school my practise was influenced by working at an evidence based multidisciplinary clinic where I learnt from physiotherapists, chiropractors and acupuncturists.
I enjoy treating a wide range of conditions including, but not limited to, headaches, back pain, sciatica, carpal tunnel, plantar fasciitis, strains and sprains, fibromyalgia and chronic pain.
My aim is to create a calm, safe and relaxing experience while providing specific treatment with techniques that vary based on your individual needs. Ideally you leave feeling like your treatment was both effective and rejuvenating.
Keeping your goals in mind I will support you through hands on treatment and provide you with tools to help yourself through stretching and strengthening recommendations, movement modifications or self massage techniques.
When not in the clinic I can be found recharging my batteries by hiking, snowboarding, running, doing yoga, reading good books, enjoying local breweries with friends and making a mess in the kitchen.
I look forward to working together and thank you for putting your trust in my hands.
